You can easily transfer balances between your cards in your account.
Simply go to My Account, click on My Permanent PINS, click on the card you would like to transfer the balance from, then click on Balance tranfer to other cards.
Phone card balance transfer option might be useful if your calling needs change. For example, you might have different phone cards for different countries, or you might have a phone card you bought to be used on your trip overseas that you cannot use in the US. Instead of simply letting the balance sit idly on the phone card you no longer need you can easily transfer the balance to the phone card that suits your current needs.
